Trauma-informed

Educational consulting

welcome to peaks solutions

We are so glad you’re here!

Trauma in our schools is rampant and hidden among so many of our students. Children are hurting and when children hurt educators hurt.

Providing real Trauma-Informed Support to children is 100% about meeting their NEEDS. Discovering these needs sometimes is difficult but if educators simply begin to listen and see the students, not their behaviors, the child will tell us what they NEED.

This is my passion to help educators truly help children.

My ultimate goal is to help assist your faculty through Peaks Solutions Professional Development workshops and/or Consultant/Mentoring Sessions transition either your District/School/Classroom into becoming truly Trauma Informed.

Peaks Solutions was formed formally in 2017. However years before Donna was mentoring and/or consulting individual educators, paras and/or administrators on the topic of ACE.

Compassion and relevance are the hallmarks of a workshop with Donna. From Public School to Alternative School to University settings, Donna has been sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience with any professional seeking a nuanced and unique perspective. Whether working with struggling, angry, & hopeless children or working with struggling, exhausted; maybe angry and hopeless educators Donna has provided effective and relevant solutions.

She has several decades of experience in numerous states and Educational environments and both attends and speaks at National Trauma Conferences.

Donna’s insight & unique “Experienced Classroom Based” perspectives, will be an asset to your district’s next professional development day.

SPECIAL OFFER to watch “This is where I learned not to sleep” documentary by mark wynn

This is an exciting time of the school year for children, Spring Break followed by Summer Vacation. This means for them that school is almost over. For most children the countdown has begun. May I remind everyone that we have some children, children that live in trauma that dread this countdown. School is their safe haven. A place where they are cared for, loved and supported. These are our children that live with their ACES. For a period of time they will lack the love, care and support they receive from their teachers and school districts. While at school these children are free from violence, ridicule, abuse, shaming, neglect and the list can go on and on.

Mark Wynn is an amazing, retired police officer who has dedicated his career to helping families find the help they need to escape their abuser. He has also spent an equal amount of time educating local police departments throughout the entire USA on how to care for the needs of the family, and also how to help police officers answer a Domestic Violence Call in order to care of the victims. Please click on the above trailer so you can watch Mark Wynn.

Mr. Wynn has a newly produced documentary (38 min) video entitled, "This is Where I Learned Not to Sleep" addressing Domestic Abuse and families and children. Ideally 1.5 hours would be fantastic for your faculty after viewing the movie to share their thoughts following the documentary with all present. Please reach out to me via www.peaksllc.net, through Facebook, LinkedIn messaging or my email: peakssolutionsllc@gmail.com to schedule a time for me to come, in person or virtually and share the documentary with your faculty and also lead a discussion following the video with your faculty. I look forward to hearing from you.

SPECIAL OFFER: I am 100% dedicated in sharing this video with as many schools and school districts around our country this year that I have limited the cost to $50.00 for this 1.5-hour session. Help me spread the words of Mark Wynn to educators.
